Short-term projects
The staff at Tranquillity International School has experience in a wide range of academic fields. By collaborating with various outside groups and organizations on a variety of projects, we hope to share this experience.
Along with contributing our knowledge, TQIS has been successful in a number of projects that have improved the learning environment for our students.
Our most current projects:
2020
Feasibility study for the introduction of secondary education that is required
The purpose of the feasibility study was to lay the groundwork for further discussion of the policy option to make secondary education compulsory in Serbia. The study’s preparation included reviewing various models and their effects on educational systems, changing the law, etc., analyzing various educational data from Serbia (such as the number of schools, students, teachers, demographic trends, expenditure on education from the central government and local government levels, etc.), and setting up interviews with various stakeholders.
2018
The school’s application for IBO accreditation to instruct the Primary Years Programme was approved.
2017-2018
Feasibility study for school network optimization and school mapping
The study developed a methodology for grouping schools based on rationalization possibilities, carried out a school mapping activity that involved creating geo maps, and conducted school grouping using the aforementioned methodology.
For each of the groups of schools, optimization models have been put forth that take into account not only a rise in the effectiveness of the school network but also educational equity and accessibility.
With the ultimate goal of improving educational attainment and lowering drop-out and unemployment rates among groups of migrant children, a study has been developed in collaboration with external associates.
